The school

Welcome to the International Montessori School Les Colibris de Sophia-Antipolis.

The International School Montessori of Sophia Antipolis is an international nursery, primary and middle school that offers Montessori pedagogy and instruction in French and English.

We offer an education for life that cultivates your child’s values, and fosters emotional, physical, psychological, intellectual and social growth.

Your child will develop all of his potential with the help of educators trained and certified in Montessori pedagogy. Every class includes educators trained in AMI (Association Montessori International) centres.

Our school currently welcomes more 150 children from 2 to 15 years old who are divided into 5 levels in a prepared and bilingual environment: 2-3 years old, 3-6 years old, 6-9 years old, 6-12 years old and 12-15 years old.

The school is located in the heart of the Sophia-Antipolis science park and is surrounded by the beauty of nature. We have set up 3 areas : a garden with games for the youngest children, a sports field, and an outdoor play area with wooden play structures,  a vegetable garden, fruit trees and animals (chickens and rabbits).

A partnership between the teaching team and parents is an important part of your children’s days at Les Colibris. Together with you, we will meet the age-appropriate needs of each child for physical and emotional security and socialization. Your children will then be able to lay the foundations for their intellectual and academic development.

The school also offers Montessori activities every Wednesday between  08:30 to 17:15. Parents have the option of either a half day or full day. These activitites are available every Wednesday of the school year and during all school holidays except for Christmas and the month of August. Register for Montessori Wednesdays or holidays.
