I have always been passionate about education in all its forms, as well as about discoveries in neuroscience that shed light on child development.
After completing a European Baccalaureate with a specialization in English, I pursued language studies with a Bachelor’s degree in English (partly completed in Ireland), before specializing in didactics with a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE).

Bilingual in French and English, I taught both languages for several years in France and abroad, including in India, Peru, and Turkey. Early in my career, I chose to focus on early childhood education, in preschool and primary settings, firmly convinced of the decisive importance of the early years in a child’s development.

It was during six particularly enriching years in a French-speaking preschool in Turkey that I discovered the Montessori pedagogy. Drawn to its holistic vision of the child, I deepened my knowledge and returned to France to undertake Montessori teacher training for ages 3–6 at the Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori in Lyon. I obtained my international diploma in June 2023.

Since then, I have worked as an English-speaking educator in a bilingual Montessori school in Bordeaux.

Also trained in Positive Discipline, I support children in their development by combining kindness, structure, and attentive listening. My goal is to create an environment that respects each child’s pace, needs, and individuality—one that fosters personal growth, autonomy, and self-confidence.

Passionate about education and early childhood development, I have always been drawn to environments where each child can grow at their own pace. The Montessori pedagogy, which I chose and for which I hold an AMI diploma for ages 2.5 to 6, fully aligns with my vision: a respectful, caring, and child-centered approach.

I have gained varied experience in Montessori schools, educational settings, and after-school programs, which has allowed me to develop a thoughtful and respectful professional posture, attentive to the individual needs of each child. Being the mother of two daughters aged 3 and 5 also gives me a sensitive and practical perspective on young children’s emotional and affective development.

Warm and attentive, I enjoy supporting children in developing their autonomy, curiosity, and overall well-being, while fostering a climate of trust and kindness. I strongly believe that collaboration with families is essential to children’s well-being and development.

I am delighted to be joining the 2–3 year-old classroom team and look forward to meeting your children, building strong relationships with each of them, and working together with you to provide high-quality support that is true to the values of Les Colibris.

I realized my project 12 years ago by becoming a school teacher
Montessori AMI educator with children aged 3 to 6 at the Maria Montessori Higher Institute.

Since then, I have met and followed many children, each different and unique. In a constant search for learning in joy and adapted to everyone, this pedagogy proved to be obvious to me. It fits my vision of childhood and the educator :

To allow each child to grow up in confidence while respecting their needs, pace, personality and dignity. And it is with great pleasure that I practice this profession that I am passionate about. I also followed a Montessori training 0-3 years old in order to understand and accompany the child from birth and convinced of the soundness of this beautiful pedagogy, applied daily with my children. I am delighted to be part of the “Colibris” team guided by the values of caring and child development.

I always knew my place was with the kids. To sixteen years i passed my BAFA patent animator and accompanies children in extracurricular activities. After my bachelor’s degree, I started a licence of psychology. In parallel, I give dance lessons and accompanies children and teenagers in school and college. During a year of traveling, I discovered Montessori pedagogy. I returned to France and studied at the Montessori Institute in Lyon. This pedagogy allowed me to discover the keys to kindness and positive education.

I was given the opportunity to learn and teach in non-violent communication. With my trainings I am able to guide children through a joyful, caring, positive approach. I wholeheartedly take on the responsibility of opening up communication between parents and the school team in order to help the children to flourish peacefully. School should be a place where children can learn. “One way to measure the relevance of an educational model is a child’s happiness”. I graduated from BAFA at the age of 16. I was already very attracted to working with children and at an early age I was able to start accompanying holiday camps, supervising music groups and school trips.

It was during a trip to Ireland that I discovered Montessori education.

I then left France to live in Dublin and follow the Montessori training 3-6 years in a private school. I also graduated from FETAC in Ireland.

At the end of this training I taught in a Montessori school as an English Montessori educator. The absence of my family and my home country prompted me to return to France in 2014. I then started working at Les Hummingbirds in the 2-3 year old class as a Francophone educator. Every day at school is the same in its routine, but it is so different and changing in learning and development that we can see in each child. It is a real pleasure to be able to witness and participate in the development of each child. and to have a pedagogy that promotes the autonomy of the child and that respects its rhythm, while having the opportunity to inculcate magnificent values. that are peace, respect, mutual help and benevolence

Originally from Vence, I grew up in a Franco-Spanish family. I devoted the beginning of my studies to understanding the human being in order to understand his ills, to help him to be a fulfilled individual taking his place in the world. Psychological studies have shown me that the construction of the human being takes place from childhood. After studying the different educators who have revolutionized education in the course of mankind, it is Dr. Montessori’s book that struck me, because it corresponds to the need of development of children in order to make them suitable individuals for our constantly changing society. The AMI training of Elementary Educator Montessori 6-12 taught me the characteristics of children of these ages, stakes of this development plan. Maria Montessori spoke of the need to transform adults to become educators and help children.

This happened thanks to the richness, complexity and rigour of this pedagogy. I graduated as an AMI 6-12 educator in 2019. I then worked as a Montessori educator in Guadeloupe, before returning to my hometown in 2021 to join the Orange Class Hummingbirds team where I have been teaching ever since. My development continues to grow as I carry out this role with children, who each have their own way of functioning and infinite individual resources.

Class 9-12 years

Since 2015, I have been working with children and have been deeply passionate about their development, curiosity, and unique ways of learning. After beginning my career in youth facilitation and studying Language Sciences, I discovered the Montessori pedagogy—an encounter that proved to be truly transformative and profoundly shaped my professional path. I had the opportunity to observe and experience this approach in several schools before completing my formal training at the Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori in Montpellier.

What motivates me each day is creating an environment where children can progress at their own pace, build confidence, and enthusiastically discover the connections that unite all areas of knowledge. In the classroom, I particularly enjoy seeing how cooperation and exchange enrich learning, and how cosmic education opens children’s perspectives on the world in a holistic and inspiring way.

I look forward to meeting your children, sharing this wonderful journey of learning and personal growth with them, and collaborating with you to support them as they grow.

From the moment I discovered Montessori in 1998, I was deeply captivated. The more I immersed myself in its pedagogy and philosophy, the more I wished to incorporate it not only as an educational method, but also as a way of life. This passion led me to receive a scholarship to pursue the Advanced Montessori Education course at the Fondazione Centro Internazionale Studi Montessoriani in Italy, where I graduated in 2003.

Since then, I have worked as an elementary educator. Twenty years later, I am also the mother of three children, and my conviction in the Montessori method remains as strong as ever. I have witnessed its effectiveness both in the classroom and at home.

I joined Les Colibris in 2022, and I have deep trust in the prepared environment, the children, and the adults who work alongside me. Together, we support each child in reaching their full potential.
