Of Spanish-Algerian origin, I was born and raised on the French Riviera. Since I started elementary school, I wanted and knew that one day I would be a « teacher ». I come from a family that allowed me to evolve in an environment that favored my autonomy and my openness to the world. Since I was very young I have been practicing music, plastic and visual arts, writing and sports.
I obtained my BAFA at the age of sixteen and since then I have flourished in contact with
children and teenagers. It was in 2012, during a trip, that I came into contact for the first time
with an audience of teenagers from a Montessori college in Latin America. I set my sights on this pedagogy that was unknown to me until then. I deepened my discovery through meetings, personal readings and by following the preparation course for the professions of education, teaching and training during my Hispanic humanities course.
In 2017 and during the years that followed, I was involved in an association whose aim was to create a Montessori school. At the same time, I am informed and trained in the psychology of child and adolescent development, in the helping relationship and in parenting. My training and experience allow me to accompany children in their development and families in their educational role.
It is in 2024 that I obtain the Montessori certification 0-3 years old (with Sylvie d’Esclaibes).
Having grown up in Sophia-Antipolis, it is an honor for me, after several years of traveling
France and the world, to join the teaching team of Les Colibris.

Half Finnish and English, I grew up between Asia and Europe. Mother tongue English. After a BA in Information Design by the University of the Arts, London. I worked with teenagers and wanted to know more about Montessori education. In 2014, I graduated casa dei bambini (2-5-6) at the Maria Montessori Institute in London.
Then in 2022 I graduated from the AMI of early childhood assistance from 0 to 3 years old. Then I settled in Paris and worked with all the little ones. In a children‘s community for several years. I have seen how vital it is for adults to lead by example by using positive and encouraging language and behaving in front of children, because we know they have a captivating mind. I think Montessori is more than a form of education. It‘s a way of life.
I enjoy guiding and collaborating with toddlers to help them learn to do things for themselves, interact socially with others, and take care of the community environment. I come from an artistic and musical background and I love giving young children the opportunity to express themselves through art, music, baking/cooking sessions and gardening. I love working with all families on their child‘s development path at Colibris International Montessori Sophia Antipolis.

I realized my project 12 years ago by becoming a school teacher
Montessori AMI educator with children aged 3 to 6 at the Maria Montessori Higher Institute.
Since then, I have met and followed many children, each different and unique. In a constant search for learning in joy and adapted to everyone, this pedagogy proved to be obvious to me. It fits my vision of childhood and the educator :
To allow each child to grow up in confidence while respecting their needs, pace, personality and dignity. And it is with great pleasure that I practice this profession that I am passionate about. I also followed a Montessori training 0-3 years old in order to understand and accompany the child from birth and convinced of the soundness of this beautiful pedagogy, applied daily with my children. I am delighted to be part of the “Colibris” team guided by the values of caring and child development.

I have always believed that early childhood education is the key to create a better world and that the role of educator is one of the most important in society. I discovered Montessori pedagogy at the beginning of my 20s and have been passionate about it ever since. What inspires me the most it’s her focus on community, empathy, cooperation and the way of which the prepared environment by Montessori is a microcosm of the ideal peaceful society. I applied the Montessori philosophy with children for 20 years, in Canada, Maroc, Tunisia, Martinique. Other this years i could see the children become caring, confident members, curious, competent, productive in their community.
One of my main areas of interest as a Montessori guide has been ecological literature and environmental management, as well as raising awareness among these young children. In addition to offering students many opportunities to connect with nature, I think it is important to encourage them to create, implement and maintain their own conscientious and sustainable practices for caring for their environment on a daily basis. I’m thrilled to be part of the vibrant hummingbird community,

I always knew my place was with the kids. To sixteen years i passed my BAFA patent animator and accompanies children in extracurricular activities. After my bachelor’s degree, I started a licence of psychology. In parallel, I give dance lessons and accompanies children and teenagers in school and college. During a year of traveling, I discovered Montessori pedagogy. I returned to France and studied at the Montessori Institute in Lyon. This pedagogy allowed me to discover the keys to kindness and positive education.
I was given the opportunity to learn and teach in non-violent communication. With my trainings I am able to guide children through a joyful, caring, positive approach. I wholeheartedly take on the responsibility of opening up communication between parents and the school team in order to help the children to flourish peacefully. School should be a place where children can learn. “One way to measure the relevance of an educational model is a child’s happiness”. Maria Montessori view of the child and her way of learning guided by the values of benevolence Montessori.

I graduated from BAFA at the age of 16. I was already very attracted to working with children and at an early age I was able to start accompanying holiday camps, supervising music groups and school trips.
It was during a trip to Ireland that I discovered Montessori education.
I then left France to live in Dublin and follow the Montessori training 3-6 years in a private school. I also graduated from FETAC in Ireland.
At the end of this training I taught in a Montessori school as an English Montessori educator. The absence of my family and my home country prompted me to return to France in 2014. I then started working at Les Hummingbirds in the 2-3 year old class as a Francophone educator. Every day at school is the same in its routine, but it is so different and changing in learning and development that we can see in each child. It is a real pleasure to be able to witness and participate in the development of each child. and to have a pedagogy that promotes the autonomy of the child and that respects its rhythm, while having the opportunity to inculcate magnificent values. that are peace, respect, mutual help and benevolence.

I have always been fascinated by early childhood, and I started taking care of the little ones when I was still a child myself.
As a teenager, I was lucky enough to evolve in a very open environment and to have as models mothering mothers, children lulled by a free and respectful education. I thus got to know the Montessori pedagogy when it was still not widespread in France. After my higher education in culture, I wanted to combine my three passions: art, childhood and nature through workshops. Rich in this experience, I understood that I wanted to continue on this path. One day I heard a program about a Montessori school in the forest and the seed planted 10 years ago suddenly sprouted: « But of course, this is my life project! ». The next school year, I was sitting on the benches of the Institut Supérieur Montessori in Lyon and I was starting my best year as a student. A year of encounters and discovery of the human being in training, rich in fascinating and so sensible lessons.
With my diploma as an AMI 3-6 educator, I had the chance to be an educator in an atmosphere for 3-6 years for 4 years before becoming a mother and working from home.
Now that my daughter is a little older, I am very happy to come back to work where I belong : in the heart of a group of children.
For me, Montessori pedagogy is above all common sense: knowing the child and his development in order to provide him with what best suits his needs. But it is also a posture of the adult full of humility in the face of the incredible potential of the adult of tomorrow. It is a question of being aware that the child has everything in him to grow and that our role is to offer him the most conducive environment for his development.

I’ve been teaching for almost 12 years. I started as a teacher of English as a second language for children and adults in foreign language training centres. Then I worked in international schools at the Cambodia and Thailand, finally taking an interest in Montessori pedagogy and philosophy last year.
I started my training as a 3-6 year old AMI Montessori Assistant this summer in order to deepen the skills needed to guide children in their development.
I’m happy to be in class and see how children change and grow with the Montessori environment system. I’m thrilled to be part of the Colibris team and to have the opportunity to grow with dedicated and competent teachers.
